Graffiti isn’t meant to last forever. I’d prefer someone draw a mustache and glasses on one of my pieces than encase it in Perspex.

Well, a big part street art is knowing that whether it be an install/stencil/or poster.. it’s not going to last forever.  Obviously we’re more pleased when things stay up for a while, but it’s not a surprise if it’s taken down soon.  We like to hope that people will enjoy looking at the pieces and see them as art, and therefore not take them down right away but the reality of things is that they usually get taken down sooner rather than later

COOL! I've always wanted to be an installation artist, though I don't have much free time because I'm still studying. Any tips for a struggling artist like myself? — Asked by pinkognito

just keep thinking of ideas, and then going out and doing those things.  Whether it be painting, sculpture, street art..  A lot of people are scared to try something out that they thought of, maybe because its different than what they usually do or maybe because they’re unsure of how it’ll turn out.  But actually going through with it - creating and going through with the ideas that you come up with and turning your ideas into reality is the best advice I can give to anyone.

Just saw you on Facebook. I wondered why you chose a german word?
Love the design!
I'm from Germany by the way

We chose doppelgangr because of the meaning behind it, the word itself is known in english here as well.  There really isn’t an english word with the same meaning of a ghostly double of someone, and we thought considering what we’re doing… that it was a fitting name
